UPCYCLED GAP JEAN CROSS BODY BAG
Upcycling is a fantastic way to save money, energy, and support sustainability. I’ve always wanted a simple cross body bag to carry my keys, phone, etc. Instead of giving in to trends and purchasing a Lulu Lemon bag, I decided to make my very own.
Here is my cross body bag made from my old, worn-out pair of Gap shorts and lined with an old skirt I thrifted in West Virginia. I added some personality to it with bright hand stitching, pocket patchwork, and dainty, hand-embroidered flowers.

REPURPOSED OVERSIZED LONG SLEEVE
I created this fun long sleeve from an assortment of dead stock fabric swatches, organic cotton, and my old t-shirts. Using the materials I already had gives this shirt meaning to me and feels more sustainable.
